Booking and Payments:
• Packages such as Mini, Basic, Signature or Seasonal must be paid in full at checkout and are non-refundable*. Built Packages require that the initial payment of 30% be issued as a non-refundable deposit* to secure your session. Any remaining balance is due on or before the invoice due date.
• A $10 late payment fee applies if balances are overdue. Services may be paused or cancelled until payment is complete.
• A relocation fee of $10 will be applied when altering the previously booked location.
• Prices are subject to change without notice; however, quoted prices are guaranteed once a deposit or full payment is received.
• A 13% Transaction Fee is charged at checkout. This fee helps cover the costs of processing payments safely and securely. When you pay with a credit card, debit card, or online payment system, banks and payment providers charge fees. The Transaction Fee ensures we can continue to provide smooth, secure, and reliable payment processing without impacting the quality of our services.This Transaction Fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations, reschedules, or refunds.
Contract:
• Contract must be signed within three (3) days of booking. Failure to sign on time results in cancellation. Refunds will not be issued if a session is cancelled due to late submission of the contract or for any other applicable reasons, even if the Protection Plan has been purchased.
• The contract must be signed by the person responsible for payment; this person is legally bound to all terms.
Protection Plan, Rescheduling, and Cancellations:
• The Protection Plan is available at the time of booking for $40 (plus any fees or taxes). Customers who purchase the Protection Plan may:
- Reschedule their session at no charge for any reason (including bad weather conditions) up to two (2) times at no additional cost, provided notice is given at least 5 hours before the scheduled session. If notice is given less than 5 hours, rescheduling is not permitted, and the session will be considered cancelled.
- Qualify for a full or partial refund if customer cancels only due to medical or family emergency (proof required).
• Customers without the Protection Plan may request a reschedule for a fee of $45 (plus any fees or taxes) if notice is given at least 24 hours before the session. Requests within 24 hours are considered cancellations. If the photographer reschedules due to weather including rain, snow, wind, the same fee applies.
• Customer cancellations: deposits and prior payments are non-refundable*. Cancellations more than three (3) weeks before the session may be eligible for partial refunds at the discretion of Christian Lombardo Photographs.
• Photographer cancellations: rescheduling will be offered; if rescheduling is not possible, a full credit refund of all payments will be issued. This credit can be used toward a future session with us.
• No-shows (failure to appear at the agreed time/place without notice) result in complete forfeiture of all payments.
Important Note: The $40 fee for the Protection Plan is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations, reschedules, or refunds. Purchasing the Protection Plan does not override all other cancellation policies.
Session Guidelines:
• Customers must arrive on time. If they are late, the session will begin upon arrival and end at the originally scheduled end time. Extra time is not guaranteed. No additional late-show fees are charged, but time lost due to lateness will not be extended without an overtime booking. Customers who wish to extend beyond the booked timeframe may request additional time, subject to photographer availability. Overtime is charged with an extra fee of $35, plus the cost of any extra minutes requested, as well as applicable taxes or additional fees.
• Extra Location Fees may apply for sessions outside the designated service area (Toronto).
• Permits, venue fees, or entry costs for special locations are the Customer’s responsibility.
• Customers are responsible for ensuring participants are ready. Delays caused by unprepared participants (children, pets, groups, etc.) reduce active shooting time.
• Props, outfits, or special requests must be communicated in advance. Extra charges may apply if provided by the photographer.
• Food, drinks, and other items that may damage equipment or locations must be handled responsibly. Damages caused by the Customer or their guests may result in additional fees.
Delivery and Products:
• Edited images are delivered within the timeframe stated in the contract. Express delivery is available for an additional fee.
• Final images are delivered in digital format unless otherwise agreed. Physical products (prints, albums, USB drives) may incur additional costs.
• Raw/unedited images are not provided under any circumstances.
• Christian Lombardo Photographs retains the right to select images that meet quality standards; not all captured images are guaranteed for delivery.
• Products (prints, albums, etc.) will not be ordered or delivered until full payment is received.
Image Usage and Copyright:
• Christian Lombardo Photographs retains full copyright of all images.
• Customers receive personal-use rights only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Commercial or promotional use may require prior written consent and a commercial licensing fee.
• Customers may not edit, alter, or apply filters to the delivered images without written permission.
Liability and Force Majeure:
• Christian Lombardo Photographs is not liable for delays, damages, or failures caused by Acts of God, technical issues, emergencies, or circumstances beyond control.
• Liability is limited to the amount paid for services; no further damages or claims will be entertained.
• Customers are responsible for personal belongings, safety, and conduct during the session.
• Christian Lombardo Photographs is not responsible for dissatisfaction caused by personal appearance choices (clothing, hair, makeup, etc.) or lack of preparation by participants.
Refunds:
• Refund eligibility is determined by the Protection Plan or Policies in place.
• Partial refunds (if any) are issued at the sole discretion of Christian Lombardo Photographs.
• The Protection Plan Fee and Transaction Fee are non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations, reschedules, or refunds.
• Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.
*Exceptions may apply only if the Protection Plan was purchased or as outlined in official Policies.
By agreeing to this document, the customer acknowledges that it constitutes the full Booking Policy of Christian Lombardo Photographs and agrees to all terms outlined herein.
